- Read and understand all sections of your BLU-JET operators manual.
- Hold a general safety meeting for all operators of equipment before each season, teaching the hazards of mechanical machinery and related fertilizers and chemicals.
- Read and understand all safety and caution decals.
- Always wear goggles, gloves and protective clothing.
- Use extreme caution when handling anhydrous ammonia and related equipment. Carelessness may cause serious injury or death.
- Never look directly into a hose, meter, quick coupler or shutoff valve.
- Allow only one operator on the tractor during operation of equipment.
- Do not allow personnel to ride on equipment during operation.
- Never allow children near equipment.
