JetStream Injection

Root Zone Liquid Placement Without A Knife

The BLU-JET JetStream Liquid Injection System eliminates the need to replace one of the highest wearing row unit componants of any liquid injection applicator, the knife. A high pressure stream is created by an orificed nozzle at the end of each row unit, shooting the liquid fertilizer into the slot created by the coulter. This injects the fertilizer up to 4" into the root zone.

Low Disturbance

The JetStream Injection System leaves almost no disturbance on the soil surface. Unlike NH3 injection, where some soil disturbance is required to maximize absorption, fertilizer in a liquid solution can be injected and absorbed using only the coulter slot. The picture on the right shows the coulter track just after liquid has been injected.

Better Than Drip Or Spray

Unlike drip or spray delivery systems, which leave the product on the surface, the BLU-JET JetStream delivery system puts the product into the soil where roots can most easily find it. JetStream is also less effected by wind, and needn't rely on rain get the product to the roots.

Unique Nozzle Protection

A consistent challenge for other high pressure injection systems is keeping the injection nozzle in-line with the coulter track. The row unit nozzles on some systems can be knocked out of place by residue or other field obstructions. BLU-JET's C-style nozzle guard keeps the nozzle protected from obstructions and residue, which keeps the stream shooting into the coulter track.
