| BLU-JET SubTiller Shanks are made from 1¼" x 6" high strength steel, making them some of the toughest in the industry. In addition to being made out of some of the toughest material in the industry, SubTiller shanks also come with a reinforcement welded on the back of the shank for added strength. Owners have the option of welding wear plates on the sides of the shanks to protect against particularly abrasive soils; and all SubTiller shanks come with mountings for reversible/replaceable wear shins as well as replaceable points. The design of the shank is what allows SubTiller to continue to out perform the competition in the field. In addition to performance and durability, BLU-JET SubTiller Shanks have been designed to allow producers versatility in operation. One example is a producer's choice between fall points (which fully fracture up to 20" on both sides of the shank) and our less aggressive summer points (which fracture up to 14" on both sides of the shank). Another example would be BLU-JET StripTill Attachments, which bolt directly on to the back of the shank for easy conversion between operations.
